I am very interested in working as a tutor.
I graduated from the Bath Spa University in Bath UK in 2009 with a Bachelor of Art with Honours in Drama studies and English Literature. I have gained experience working in Hong Kong as a part time English Teacher in a learning centre and several local and international kindergartens. I graduated in 2013 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education at Baptist University in Hong Kong.

I was born in France and moved around; I have lived in five countries.
As a long time, global expatriate, I have been exposed to a wide array of international cultures, languages and lifestyle. I easily adapt to different cultures and environments. I have also been exposed to a wide range of different international schooling systems. In my previous job with ESF, I had many opportunities through professional development days, to further explore the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and to fully appreciate its philosophy. I believe in a rich and diverse curriculum that helps children to think, explore and achieve. I recently completed an online course with the IB on the PYP in order to further understand it and acquire the skills needed.

I have a passion to share and have always been interested in becoming a teacher/tutor. During my studies, I volunteered to tutor friends in French as well as small children. My experience in Drama has inspired me to teach children through its use. For example, during my work as an English teacher I would provide scripts, role play ideas, props and music. With the children I would act out a scene from a fairy tale or popular storybook or let the children’s imagination make the story.

I am very sociable and get along very well with children and peers. I am full of ideas and enjoy planning activities, I have given several activity ideas to my co-workers at ESF, some were well received and implemented.

I am a multitasker and can resolve any situation quickly and effectively. For example, when it comes to classroom management and gaining the children’s attention I find clever tricks and ideas.
